While we are so far apart
I wake up in the morning
To a loving message from you
That makes my day much brighter
Than anything else could do.
Then the sound of you voice
Softly touches my ear
To ease my discomfort
That you are not near.
My love for you is stronger
Than ever it was before
It grows every day
To be more and more.
I long to feel you with me
The warmth of your skin
As you wrap around me,
Oh how long has it been?
Many miles separate us
But I feel your love for me
I know down deep inside
That this is meant to be.
So this distance I will suffer
For I know in my heart
Our love will see us through
While we are so far apart.
