My mind is ablaze
And my heart skips a beat
As the thought of your voice
When finally we speak.
The embrace of your arms
Brings a warmth untold
Firm but yet gentle
Please never break hold.
The taste of your kiss
Is oh so sweet
So soft and so gentle
As our lips meet.
The memory of you
Is still bright and clear
Like the hope in my heart
That I hold so dear.
By day and by night
I have a dream of you
It fills all my thoughts
And I hope will come true.
